Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Cameroon, in a family that recognized my love for movement long before I fully understood it myself. My parents and siblings were always cheering me on, and dance became one of the earliest ways I learned to express who I was. Cameroon will always be home.
Life has taken me across countries, cultures, and languages, but I carry Africa with me wherever I go. It’s part of how I move, how I connect, how I celebrate, and how I show up in the world. And yes, I will proudly represent Cameroon any chance I get.
When I joined Les Belles d’Afrique, dance became even more than movement. It gave me confidence, connection, and a sisterhood that has lasted a lifetime. Then, well… life started life-ing.I became a pharmacist. A wife. A mom. I was building a beautiful life and giving so much of myself to the people I loved, but somewhere along the way, I started feeling like a little piece of me had gone missing. Turns out, that piece liked loud music and an 8-count.
VXN brought me back. In class, I wasn’t Mom, Wife, Pharmacist, or the person responsible for remembering everyone’s everything. I was just me. Sweating, dancing, laughing, reconnecting with my body after motherhood, and feeling that spark again.
So, at just 4 months postpartum with my second baby, exhausted and probably surviving on caffeine and determination, I became a VXN instructor. And honestly? It changed everything.
Today, I wear a lot of hats. I’m a Cameroonian woman living in San Diego, a pharmacist, wife, mom of 2, and a NASM-certified fitness instructor. But at the center of it all, I’m still that girl who loves to dance, loves bringing people together, and believes movement has a pretty incredible way of bringing us back to ourselves.
That’s why I created this space. You don’t have to be a dancer. You don’t have to have it all together. You just have to show up. Come move, sweat, laugh, let your hair down a little, and take some time that belongs completely to you. Because sometimes finding yourself again starts with a really good beat.

My wellness consultation with Andong was a game-changer. As a pharmacist, she brings a scientific depth I trust, but she also understands the soul. She helped me create a sustainable self-care plan that actually works for my life. It's the perfect blend of evidence and empathy.
